Kathy Dougherty wrote a sympathy message

“I was a docent with Norma (and Abe) at the Desert Museum. They were such a great couple and individually some of my very favorite people. There wasn't a negative bone in Norma's body; she was cheerfully helpful, non-judgmental and just a joy to be around. As a 'word' person, we shared many fun conversations, puns, and she and Abe taught me so much Yiddish. She and Abe have been sorely missed at ASDM, missed but not forgotten - many of us wear Abe's jewelry every week.”

Anna Domitrovic wrote a sympathy message

“Norma (and of course Abe) will be sadly missed. She continued to work with Earth Sciences after Abe passed during our mineral sales. She contributed much to our jewelry section and donated some of Abe's hand-made pieces after he passed. We will always love you, Norma. It brings a peaceful feeling knowing you are joined again with your loving husband. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family you've left behind. We'll all be joining you soon enough. Anna Domitrovic, Earth Sciences”
