She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Davis and Pearl Price. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Anne Barkman Spaulding of Tucson, Diana Davis Martin of Paintsville, Evan Barkman of Flagstaff and Will Davis of Mesa, Arizona.. She is also survived by her two sisters and one brother.
Peggy's pride in her contributions to the arts was evident as she established the school of dance at the University of Pikeville in the 1970s, a program that continues to flourish today with its annual performances of the Nutcracker ballet—a legacy that reflects her enduring passion for dance and community involvement.
