It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Marie Harrington (Tucson, Arizona), born in Butte, Montana, who passed away on May 15, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Harrington, Sr.; her daughter Kathleen Harrington White Wright; and her son-in-law Dr. Phillip Carter. She is survived by: her children, William Harrington, Jr. (Dee) of Helena, MT, Maureen Britton of Butte, MT, Colleen Carter of Tucson, Judge Charles Harrington (Marci) of Tucson and Timothy Harrington (Sherril) of Tucson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.

“This is Jacqui Harrington, PJ Harrington's (Cork, Ireland) daughter. I met Rita when she was staying with my gran and grandad (Nora and Derry) in Dublin. I was 13 at the time and just had an operation. She mothered me and made me laugh as much as my own mum. She was so lovely. My heart goes out to you all.”
