He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Gietl and Joseph Gietl; and his siblings, Tom, Joe, Judy and Virginia.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry, Dan, Paul and Jim; his wife Karen; his sons, Michael (Dawn), Jeffrey (Maria) and Robert (Jolene); his grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Susie, Katie, Lauren, Alex and Marcus; and his friend Bill W.
