He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte; his son Michael; and his parents, Richard E. Holmes and Dorothy L. Holmes. He is survived by: his brothers, Richard and Donald; his dry New England; his sons, Alexander and Daniel Holmes; his stepchildren, Karin Kizer and Kevin Kizer; and his granddaughters, Sacha Holmes and Katherine Cantu.
