He is survived by: his former wife Patricia; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Fletcher Kovach; his wife Adine Merkin; his children, Deborah Kovach (Mark) of Boise, Lee Knawa (Dolly) of Olympia and David Knawa (Shelly) of Corona; his grandson Nick Kovach (Angelica); his great grandchild Philippa; his granddaughter Megan Koury (Doug); and his great grandchildren, Graham and Griffin.
