She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth W. Lucas and Hazel M. Schonfeld (Reedy); and her daughter Robbin D. Cook. She is survived by: her sister Marjorie D. Lucas; her husband Robert J. Daems; her son Troy D. (Shari); her grandchildren, Karissa J. Bassard (Matt), Tiffany N. Creason (Sean) and Tyler L. Cook; her great grandchild Ronan L. Cook; her sister Patricia Shaw; her brother-in-law Bernarr Shaw; and her nibling Robbin Cook.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (610 N High St, Brownstown, IN 47220).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Ruby.
