“Professor Jimenez (Rudy) was my Civil Engineering instructor in 1968-69 but most importantly, he encouraged me to pursue a career with US DOT Federal Highway Administration. He was instrumental in my career in Civil Engineering and I enjoyed many years of participation in AZ Roads and Streets Conferences (Rudy’s creation). I am truly grateful for his mentorship and friendship over my professional career. May we all appreciate his legacy as a true inspiration to so many engineers. Rest in Peace”
