He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Cruz and Virginia Cruz. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cruz; his children, Araceli Cruz Schou (Dirck Jr.), Sonya Lazo (Benito) and Rene Cruz (Andrea); his grandchildren, Justin Gallego (Hillary), Felice Gallego, Trinity Schou, Carmela Fonseca (Alex), Joaquin Lazo, Levi Cruz and Breesa Cruz; his great grandchildren, August and Francis; his sister Margarita Molina (Rudy Sr.); and his brother-in-law Greg Gaona (Lupita). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (338 W University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85705). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
