Samuel Michael Murguia Obituary

Samuel Michael “Mike” Murguia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
Mike leaves his father Samuel Murguia of South Tucson and was predeceased by his mother Yolanda (Moreno). Mike leaves his daughter, Susana Murguia and her wife, Amanda (Cox), of Tucson, his son, Zack Murguia of Decatur, Indiana, his brother Joseph, and his family of Sahuarita, AZ, his sister Rosa Rojel and her family, of Three Points, AZ, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Mike’s heart also belonged to his step-grandchildren; Charles, Marmolejo, Jonathan, Jose, Josiah, Paloma, Ralph, and Roman.
Born in Tucson, Arizona, Mike graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1976. He had a long career as an automotive parts manager. Mike was an avid music fan, loved western movies, and Jackie Chan. Mike was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. Mike was a man of faith and readily shared the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 10 am-2pm at Sensible Cremation and Funerals 109 W Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85705. At the request of the family, a Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date.
