He was predeceased by: his parents, Raul Barraza Romero and Lydia Lucero Valenzuela; and his siblings, Sally Romero and Raul B. Romero, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Israel V. Romero, Liliyan V. Romero, MaryAn V. Crisan (Alex) and Jennie Y. Amalfitano; his niece Pualani Amalfitano; his nephew Kenneth J. Schultz; and his great-nephew Giovanni J. Lopez.
