She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Brandmeyer and Hazel Brandmeyer (Moore); and her husband William Simkin. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Dixon (Steve) of Bettendorf, Deborah Simkin of Tucson and Douglas Simkin (Christa Johnson) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Libby Parker-Simkin, William Parker-Simkin and Emerson Parker-Simkin; and her sister-in-law Sandra Mellott of Burlington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
