He was predeceased by : his parents, Iva M Cuvelier and H. E. Cuvelier. He is survived by : his wife Jean Cuvelier of Vail, Arizona; his daughters, Melissa Wall (Ryan) of Vail and Holly Cuvelier of Sierra Vista, Arizona; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Wendig (Steve) of Sierra Vista, Tarence Brown of Safford, Alyssa Stoddard (Kenny), Gabriel Stoddard (Briana) and Elena Stoddard; his great grandchild Jace Wendig of Sierra Vista; and his sisters, Donna Sokolik, Carol Koenen of Hampton and Dorothy Harmon (Don) of Anamosa, Iowa.. He is also survived by his friends and family.

In January, 2017, Craig suffered several strokes and a heart attack due to A-Fib that led to open heart surgery and a valve replacement, followed by a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis and eventually Alzheimer's disease.
