He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph B. Monroe and Ruth A. Monroe; and his brother-in-law Gary. He is survived by: his pet Elmer; his wife Barbara "Bara" Monroe; his daughters, Kimberly "Treacle" Lipko and Barbara (Bobbie); his brother George Monroe; his sister-in-law Cathy; his nephews, Stephen and Gary; his sister Cynthia Kirk; his niece Alisa; and his nephew Randy.
