He was predeceased by: his wife Genalee Bailey Winfree (Genie); his mother Clara Winfree Burnett; his siblings, James Winfree, Ramon Winfree, Leslie Winfree, Simon Winfree, Margaret Winfree Finke and Alice Winfree Lawhorn; and his sons-in-law, Richard David Elliott and Randy Franklin.
He is survived by: his father Simon Winfree; his children, Robert Keith Winfree (R. K.), Paula Jean Winfree Elliott, Kristinia Sue Christen (Dan) and Albert Leslie Winfree (Bert); his grandchildren, Robert Allen Winfree, Charles Parker Winfree, Alexander James Bailey Winfree (Aspen), David Roy Thomas Winfree, Nicholas Torrence Christen (Heather), Anthony Lyle Christen, Danielle Ann Christen Nicholas (Christopher) and Brandon Keith Winfree; and his great grandchildren, Mason Lyle Christen (Mavis), Jennalee Bailey Christen, Grayson Kade Christen, Kaidan Asher Christen, Landon J. Christen, Lily Breann Nicholas, Oliver Charles Clark Nicholas and Rylan Astaire Winfree.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Douglas City Cemetery. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (700 E Sahuarita Rd, Vail, AZ 85641). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
