He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodrigo Rivera Cisneros and Ignacia Barraza Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Sabina; his children, Rodolfo "Fletch" Rivera (Eileen), Rodrigo Rivera (Leslie), Ruben Rivera (Reyes), Martha Rodriguez (Manny) of Agripino and Juan Carlos "Johnny" Rivera; his daughters-in-law, Lydia Morgan and Mindy Rivera; and his siblings, Rosa Rivera, Ciprano Rivera and Gurrero Rivera. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 ¾ great grandchildren.
