He was predeceased by: his sister Michelle Cathleen Ruyter; and his son Jackson David Ruyter. He is survived by: his parents, Theodorus Ruyter (Ted) and Terry Lynne Burt; his sons, Nathan Cameron Ruyter and Lance Michael Ruyter; his sister Tina Marie Ruyter; his fiancé Gail Griemsmann; and his partner's daughter Nadia Griemsmann.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary (8555 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85255). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Paradise Memorial Gardens (9300 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260).
