He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ono and Lucy Ono; his sister Josephine Perez; his son Christopher Ono; and his granddaughter Hidie.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Ono; and his children, Joe M. Ono Crystal (Luci), Pete, Justin, Donna Sanchez Emilio (Stephen), Rita Montiel Sherá (Ben), Lambert Long (Rose Mary), Anthony, Issac, Dolores Ochoa (Joseph), Brianna, Miguel, Ann Arredondo (Nick), Brinleigh, Danny Ono and Alisiana. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
