He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Morgan (Dennis), Cynthia Bixler (Steven), Kathryn Winn (Richard) and William Barris (Pamela); and his uncle Jerry Richards (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Throughout his distinguished career Alan made significant contributions to the Army Medical Department of which one was the development of an Inventory Management Database that is still in use today.
