She was predeceased by : her husband Bruce Sumner Sr.; her sister Karen Broussard; and her parents, Robert Venable and Genevieve Venable. She is survived by : her children, Robert Sumner, Dawn Simpson (Stephen), Bruce Sumner Jr. and Ken Sumner (Kristi); her grandchildren, Meghan Shea Hare, Nathan Sumner, Zachary Sumner, Christopher Sumner and Amanda Sumner; and her great grandchild Aron Lev Sumner.
