He is survived by: his mother Dolores Chavez of Carrizozo, NM; his children, Erica Chavez of Yuma, AZ, Paula Lyle (Christian) of Tennessee and Edward Vara of Yuma, AZ; and his sisters, Juanita Brewer of Carrizozo, NM and Ella Lubojacky of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
