She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Rodriguez and Anita Rodriguez; her siblings, Roberto Rodriguez and Gloria Rodriguez; and her grandson Kanin Steven Chavez (Homero Chavez).
She is survived by: her husband Santiago Chavez; and her children, Hector Chavez (Carmen), Gus Chavez, Adrian Chavez (Diana), Ruben Chavez (Becky), Santiago Chavez (Heather), Griselda Vigil (Robert) and Elizabeth Dammeyer (Fred). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
