He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy Ann Nelson and Duane "Butch" Nelson; and his grandparents, Anna, Lansing Durst, Florance and Carl Nelson.
He is survived by: his parents, Duane Nelson and Margaret Nelson (Durst); his daughter Amber Justi of Redding, CA; his siblings, Dana Holbert (Ross) of Valdosta, GA, Darla Hanson (Mathias) of Surrey, ND and Doug Nelson (Tanya) of Donnelly, ID; and his sister-in-law Pam Nelson of Warroad, MN. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
