He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Manning and Edna Manning (Hammer); his brothers, Steve Ulvestad and Les Manning (Bud); and his son-in-law Steve (Diane).

He is survived by : his former life partners, Alfred Ulvestad and Margene Thompson; his children, Terri Hertle (Dan), Kent (Stephanie), Karol Roberts, Tammy Brainerd (David), Colette Jo and Matt (Noncy); his wife Diane Burns; his daughters, Carrie Mansfield (Austin) and Amy Kline; his pet Miss Penny; and his siblings, Larry Ulvestad and Joan Williams. He is also survived by his 6 children and step-daughter, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
