John Robert Wilson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of John Robert Wilson (Yuma, Arizona) on November 11, 2020. John was 91 years old. John leaves behind Linda, his wife and companion for more than 40 years. Surviving family members include John’s sister, Maggie; four adult children: Paula, Lynne, Dolly and Andrew; and one grandchild, Leslie.
Educated as a chemist, John built careers that expanded into engineering, manufacturing and consulting. John was also an accomplished woodworker, mechanic, and builder. There were few things he could not build, repair or improve..
Raised in Washington state, John was not fond of the cold or rain. He happily spent the last part of his life in the southwest. John’s favorite times were simply celebrating each day: with Linda, several dogs, many cats, family and friends.
