He was predeceased by : his wife Judy L. Simon; his brother-in-law Larry Ricica; his great-nephew Brody Miller; and his parents, William C. "Bill" Simon and Phyllis J. Simon (Baker).

He is survived by : his children, Jamie Acosta, Timothy Small and Lanie Davidson; and his siblings, William F. Simon (Bonnie), Cynthia Ricica, Ronald Simon (Kathleen) and Shelley Miller (John). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
