He is survived by: his wife Carmen Jaramillo Cope; his sisters, Sandy Dailey and Cindy Jones; his children, Dawn Heuft and Michael Cope; and his stepchildren, Carolina Ray, Claudia Rico, Danny Rico, Charlotte Miknaitis, Cecelia Beckwith, Lucy Baker, Cerena Clarke and Catherine Heacock. He is also survived by his 33 grandchildren, and his 45 great-grandchildren.
