He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Krantz and Ester Krantz (Weber); his brother James; his son Walter; his stepson Kenneth Dotts; and his daughter-in-law Sally Krantz.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dotts; his son Maynard; his daughters-in-law, Brenda Krantz and Lisa Krantz; his sister-in-law Laura Krantz; and his stepchildren, Thomas Dotts (Brenda) and Beverly Bean (Tab). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
