He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Yowell and Dudley Yowell; and his sister Claudia Watt. He is survived by: his wife Rita Yowell; his daughters, Whitney Sims (William) and Candace Ott (Lee) of Yuma, Arizona.; his brother Kirby Yowell (Linda) of Phoenix, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Bailee Snyder (Jacob), Dr. Jacey Sims (David Nickerson) and Dr. Hailee Sims.
