Thomas Charles Harsch Obituary

Harsch, Thomas Charles Age 81 of Yuma, Arizona, died peacefully in his home on Dec. 5, 2024. Survived by wife Maxine; two children, Manya and Michael (Charmaigne); 2 grandchildren Britton (Maegen) and Sophia (Jacob) Gutierrez; and 2 great-grandchildren, Theodore and Norah.

Tom was a fine human being. He was a curious intellect, continually learning and sharing knowledge. He did many things and achieved many achievements that are less important than knowing he was a humble human of the highest order. His needs were minimal, he did not seek the spotlight and he was content to work behind the scenes to plant and nurture future positive outcomes. If you were fortunate to have interacted with him, you were with someone who valued transparency, integrity, and fairness for all humans, not just his particular tribe of people. His attention to detail was unmatched, and his quiet observations, sometimes with sound effects, were delightful to hear when he shared snippets. He was drawn to humorous and joyful people, and he met his match with Maxine. Tom will be missed.

The family wishes to thank the many kind nurses, physicians, technicians, assistants, neighbors, friends, and strangers for their time, patience, wonderful humor, or simply genuine sharing of emotions and support during some very challenging years.
