With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Kurlinski-Myshak of Alameda, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Myshak; her son Joseph R. Kurlinski, Jr.; and her parents, John Grossman and Anna Grossman of Sugar Camp, Wisconsin.. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Cross; her grandchildren, Katie, Kristin and Jeremy; her daughter Kristine (William); and her grandchildren, Annie Elaine, Melissa, Nicolette, Janine (Peter), Sara and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Friends of the Alameda Free Library, the Sierra Club, or the Oakland Police Officer's Association.
