He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Olymbia and Kostantinos Polyzos of Kalamata; his siblings, Katerina and Paul; his spouse Kim Vallad; his son Jason Paul (Maria); his grandchildren, George Felix, Estelle Aida of Jason, Maria, Colette Olivia and Simone Nicole (Cory) of Sofia; and his nieces and nephews, Syeda, Yianni, Olivia, Eleni, Kosta and Theo George.

A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Cathedral (4700 Lincoln Ave, Oakland, CA 94602). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at the Oakmont Cemetery.
