She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; her sons, John and Stan; her sister Dorothy Roodvoets; and her granddaughter Nicolette Hiemenga.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Judy Hiemenga (Ken) and Mary Hiemenga; her grandchildren, Jen Swanlund (Chris), Peter Hiemenga (Adriana), Stephanie Hiemenga and David Hiemenga (Laura); and her nephew Michael Roodvoets. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Alameda Christian Reformed Church (2914 Encinal Ave, Alameda, CA 94501).
