He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Stevens and Janie Lee Byrd; his children, Bobbie and Richard; and his grandson Aaron.
He is survived by: his wife Verne; his children, Jack Stevens Jr., John Stevens (Cathy) and Sandy Nordseth (Tom); his stepdaughters, Nancy Kellar and Kate Rittwager (Ray); and his close friend Chris Clark. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
