He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Dorn; his daughter Debra Rayta; his son-in-law Claude Rayta; his granddaughter Madison Rayta; his daughter-in-law Maui Dorn; and his siblings, Gerald Dorn, DeEtte Hawkey and Marlys Nugent. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alameda Funeral and Services Chapel (1415 Oak St, Alameda, CA 94501). A rosary was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (3100 Van Buren St, Alameda, CA 94501). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
