He is survived by: his wife Angelita; his children, Joselyn Mangila (Andrew), Bernardino Blas (Marilou) and Alfred Blas (Armie); his grandchildren, Gerardo, Mary Patricia Mangila, Christopher Benedicto, Andrea Blas, Bernard Blas, Martina Blas, Juliana Blas and Alfonso Blas; and his sisters, Susan Schreiter, Magdalena Cabrera and Ching Muego.
