With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zaharenia Kouris (Alameda, California), who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George Vallis and Eugenia Vallis; her siblings, Ted and Athena (Manatos); and her husband Andy.
She is survived by : her daughters, Carrie Spellman (Kevin) of Berkeley and Adrienne Holland (Dave) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Athan Bezaitis (Brittany), Margaret Cox (Stelios Kalivianakis), Andrea Holland, Jeff Spellman (Jillian), Erica Kartunen (Andrew), Andy Spellman (Alana) and Will Holland (Laura); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Cox, Thalia Kalivianakis, Koralia Zara, Nikoletta Bezaitis, Maddy, Charlie Kartunen, Elia and Logan Spellman.
