I also visited him in Belvedere after their return from London, and later in S.F. I was acutely aware of the change in his condition—and he was aware of mine. I was deeply shocked to just learn of his passing, and greatly regret not having sought him out again in recent years. I loved Bruce. He was good and gentle man. I hope you will contact me.”
