He is survived by: his children, Betty Yamasaki (Kyle), Thomas Tamura (Wendi) and Steve Tamura (Lisa); his grandchildren, Emi, Russell Yamasaki, Avery, Kelly, Sean and Colin Tamura; his sister Norie Shimomae of Japan; and his sister-in-law Taeko Tamura. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
