We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Tom Miyasaki (Altadena, California). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Issei; his wife Tsuru Miyasaki; his son Ken Miyasaki; and his siblings, Sachiju Yokogawa and Sam Miyasaki.
He is survived by: his children, June Miyasaki and Mark Miyasaki (Liza); and his grandchildren, Justin Miyasaki and Marisa Johnson (Michael). He is also survived by three great grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of koden, the family requests a donation of your choice to First Presbyterian Church Altadena, Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute, Little Tokyo Service Center, or the JACL to honor Tom's legacy.
