He is survived by: his children, Mimi Cunneen (Jim), Maria Stewart, Marc Mendez (Monica), Jay Mendez (Sooner), Mike Mendez (Jeanette), James Mendez and Jenny Mendez. He is also survived by his twenty grandchildren, his great-grandchild and several nephews and nieces.
