Jack Aldrich Obituary

Jack Aldrich, 84, of Anaheim, CA was born on August 10, 1933 in San Fernando, Trinidad. Jack passed away on the anniversary of September 11, while visiting family in New Jersey. Transitioning on such a monumental date was quite fitting for a man who was known as “quite a character.” Jack was funny and interesting to say the least. He lived a full life and experienced many things, including: oil rig drilling, flying a plane, and attending "Carnival" in Trinidad, as often as he could. Jack could fix anything and was quite a mechanic. He even built a 1929, Mercedes-Benz, kit car. Jack loved to cook good food and was known for his East Indian style of cuisine. Jack loved animals and children; and would retell the most endearing memories of them. Jack is survived by his wife, Lilo, sons Leetono, Stefano, and Ben, daughter Helena, stepchildren Mark and Lani Daly, brother Edson, sister Gwenth, and numerous grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his son Clinton and best friend Dave Stenmark. In line with Jack's wishes, he was cremated on 9/15/17 and his ashes will be scattered at sea, from Pompano Beach, Florida.
