He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Wagner; his parents, Chester Wagner and Bernice Foltz; his sisters, June Dieter and Barbara Jacobsen; and his sons, John Wagner Jr. and Richard Wagner.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Amparo (Rod), Terry Wagner (Jonny), Connie Olsen (Mark), Delores Wagner, Ricky Spangle (Marly), Edward Spangle (Mari), Kristina Hoheisel (Mike) and Nicholas Wagner (Kelley). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
