Margo Ann Wayman Obituary

Margo Ann Wayman passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.

She was 67 years old.

Margo was born to Charles and Colleen Putnam (Cutler) in Woodland, CA, on January 3, 1957.

She lived in Arbuckle her whole life, attending Arbuckle schools and graduating from Pierce High School in 1975. At Pierce High School, she met the love of her life, Donald Wayman. They were married shortly after Margo's graduation and immediately started a family, welcoming four children: Charles Wayman, Whitney Wayman, Kiley Barajas (Wayman), and Jenna Wayman.

Margo's journey through life was marked by an extraordinary blend of talent, resilience, and boundless love. She possessed a remarkable artistic ability to create anything she put her mind to, a testament to her unwavering determination and creative spirit. Such creations included furniture, clothes, food, cakes, and landscaping, Margo's hands were truly gifted, capable of crafting beauty from the simplest of materials, her imagination knowing no bounds.

One of Margo's greatest joys was found in the open road, which began as a child with her family on their Sunday adventures. The family would load up in the car every Sunday and explore a new destination. This continued later in life alongside her beloved father and sisters, traveling across the United States. From the rugged mountains to the tranquil shores, Margo found solace and inspiration in the vastness of nature, with the ocean holding a special place in her heart.

Yet, amidst all her travels and pursuits, Margo's most cherished role was that of a mother and grandmother. She poured her heart and soul into nurturing her four children, shaping them with values of kindness, resilience, and compassion. Her love knew no bounds, and her children and grandchildren were her greatest source of pride and joy.

Margo is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald Wayman; son Charles Wayman (Jennifer); daughter Whitney Wayman; daughter Kiley Barajas (Eduardo); daughter Jenna Wayman (Jose Garcia); brother David Putnam (Patricia); sister Cheryl Dye (Donald); sister Lori Hardy; grandchildren Paityn Wayman, Brody Wayman, Charlotte Wayman, Sophia Barajas, Brady Wayman, Jordan Garcia, Penelope Barajas, Hayley Soloviev, Mia Garica, Cole Soloviev, Rian Soloviev, Harley Barajas, and Ellie Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margo is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Colleen Putnam.

A memorial will be held at McNary-Moore in Colusa on June 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. A private burial immediately following at the College City Cemetery. A celebration of Margo's life will follow at 1:30 pm at the Arbuckle Golf Course.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pierce Pride Foundation (Athletic Boosters) at P.O. Box 1048 Arbuckle, CA 95912; Arbuckle Fire Department.
