He was predeceased by: his parents, Audre Clifton and Ruth Dowell (Dana) of Nipomo, California.; his brother William David; his sister-in-law Patricia Dowell; his parents-in-law, John and Virginia Becerra; his siblings-in-law, John, Chesterlyn Becerra and Lillian Becerra; and his nephew Adam Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, Dana (Dowell), Estrada (Kristopher), Joanna (Dowell), Johnson (Larry) and Jody Dowell (Juri); and his grandchildren, John Haruto, Justin Kaito and Jasmine Hana. He is also survived by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as a wide circle of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jack's Helping Hand (jackshelpinghand.org) in San Luis Obispo.
