He was predeceased by : his siblings, William, Robert Maranda and Elizabeth Listner. He is survived by : his wife Chris; his son Michael (Tami); his stepchildren, Kim Daniels (Joe), Kristel Edwards (James), Chad Hitchcock (Nikki) and Cory Hitchcock; and his sister-in-law Francis "Pug" Maranda. He is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203).
