He is survived by : his parents, Michele Meyerink and Donald Hampl; and his siblings, Orion, Brittany and Angie. He is also survived by Grandma's and Papa's. Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, and many more cousins.

“Codie Ray Hampl was a son, a uncle, a little brother to most and a friendly kind soul he was there to love and have fun never to hurt anyone he was also a Jack of all trades I can’t even think of something that he didn’t know how to do he knew what to do when it came down to driving that race car and ridding his dirt bike or just wrenching on things he sure had a mechanical imagination he bought out the light in most, I’ve known him for 4 years but it feels as if I’ve known him my whole life.”
