He was predeceased by: his daughter Lillian Chavez. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ramos of Atwater; his children, Fernando Ramos of Atwater, Francine Mendez of Merced and Vivian Holguin of Turlock; and his siblings, David Ramos of Fair Oaks and Andrea Hernandez of Merced. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home (1490 B St, Merced, CA 95340). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Anthony's Catholic Church (1799 Winton Way, Atwater, CA 95301). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Plainsburg Cemetery (8943 Gillette Ave, Merced, CA 95341).
