He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Benjamin Decocq and Jewett Decocq; and his wife Betty. He was also cherished by 5 children, 15 Grandchildren and to date, 12 Great Grandchildren.
He then went back to work there part time in another capacity; being laid off only due to the onset of Covid.
