With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dayna Scott Thomas of Auburn, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Stephen Thomas. She is survived by: her parents, Lara Scott Wicks and Chris Allen Byers; her daughter Asher Jaine Tassone; her sister Bailey; her nephew Jonah; her siblings, McKenna and Caleb; and her grandparents, Edward, Debra Wicks, Virginia Byers and Kathleen McLennan Tucker.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Elks Lodge (195 Pine St, Auburn, CA 95603).
In lieu of flowers, she would have appreciated her family and friends making a donation to their favorite local animal rescue or shelter.
